Catching Up

So I have been really bad at this posting thing, huh? Since the previous post, I have enjoyed an many foods: some homemade, some at cooking and baking classes, and some during my travels. Now it's time to play catch up and try to share the highlights of my culinary adventures. So without further ado, a sampling of the results of last semester's baking class (in no particular order).

Opera torte with layers of joconde sponge cake, coffee swiss buttercream, dark chocolate ganache, and topped with peanut brittle.


Chocolate ravioli with a cannoli filling, topped with chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce


Raspberry marscapone tart with raspberry sabayon, chocolate sauce, and a hartmund florentina garnish
